She is also currently working closely with Rodney Yee and Donna Karan's Urban Zen Foundation presenting Urban Zen Integrative Therapies trainings in clinical and school settings.
Hazel believes that the practices of Yoga can be adapted to benefit any individual, and can help to heal and increase vitality in all aspects of our experience of Self.
Hazel has worked extensively in the field of injury rehabilitation. She has consistently observed how dramatic relief can be brought about by means of very simple yogic movement, breath-work and compassionate attention.
As a teacher, and an e-ryt500 teacher trainer Hazel maintains her own personal meditation and adaptive yoga asana practice. Her teaching tool-belt has been augmented by her studies in Hypnotherapy, Therapeutic Essential Oils and Reiki as well as her background in classical and modern dance.
Guided by years of self practice and experience, Hazel intuitively synthesizes personalized programs to bring about pain reduction and cultivate emotional and physical well-being in her students.
Hazel's highest personal goal is to bring about the manifestation of joy as an alternative to suffering.
